Above and Beyond- Understanding Meta Information
Understanding and Interpreting Meta-Program Information
Meta-Programs are one of the internal, unconscious ways we utilise to determine what to pay attention to. They are sometimes called sorting preferences or filters.
Meta -programs are largely based on the Work of Carl Jung who was interested in identifying personality types, in order to be able to predict how someone may behave within a particular context.
Having clarity in terms of your business purpose and required roles can enable you to determine what “Personality Type” will thrive in a specific role/context.
Knowing someone’s Meta-Programs can help to identify how to connect a person with their own motivations.
They are not to be used to label people or put people in boxes. There are no right or wrong preferences. The basis of this information is to explain the benefits of all preferences and how some are more useful in a certain context.
This may also offer a useful insight into why someone may be well motivated or stuck within a specific task or situation.
We provide powerful training to help you determine how people are motivated inwardly, which has an effect on the way they behave outwardly, in particular contexts.
With minimal training, it is possible to learn to identify and interpret Meta- Programs through observing and listening to behaviour and by asking the right questions.
Imagine having the ability to design your team based on having all the right people and motivations driving your busienss
Meta-Programs can offer quite detailed information regarding people’s unique motivations and preferences and how they are linked to the more simple Myers-Briggs Type Indicators (MBTI).
